About our Ministry

To Boldly Go was born two years ago in the midst of the Covid Pandemic. My husband Jesue and I saw the need and the opportunity to share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ in Tizimin, even when it seemed like every door was shut with the lockdown that lasted more than 6 months. Our mission was, and still is, quality and God will bring the quantity. We wanted to see people saved and set free by Jesus. We started with online bible studies with Facebook, counseling, and English classes in our very first apartment downtown. We changed rental homes several times during the pandemic, but always noticed how God has used each one as “a house of ministry”. After the lockdown started to let up, we started visiting different villages as we were given permission from each village’s sheriff. We would bring groceries, clothing, toys, and most importantly Jesus. We held movie nights, volleyball games, free haircuts, youth conferences, all as tools to bring people to Jesus.
